The one with the real Christmas tree

We are SO on top of the holiday this year...we've had our tree up for a week! Here is the evolution of our first real Christmas tree.

Putting on the tree topper was kind of a big deal when I was growing up. Every year, we would dig out the list of whose turn it was, and the lucky person would ceremoniously place the top on the tree.

In other news, Ezekiel is in a big kid car seat now! I have been anxiously anticipating this day for a long time. The first time I put him in it, he cried, like he does when getting into the other one. I was kind of disappointed, but I guess a car seat is still a car seat. But once he was in and we were going, he seemed to like it!

Also - he has a nasty cold, and he is very stuffy. The other morning, we woke up to find this. All I will say is it was very gross, and extremely difficult to remove.
