The one with the Ruby

Ruby stayed with us last week after the wedding, and we had so much fun! Here are the highlights of our week.

*Dance Central - Ruby likes Lady Gaga
*Snailpeople at the Garden Home Library
*When Ruby said, "Ezekiel is feeling better. He's not in a crappy mood anymore."
*Going to the park
*Making lemon cake with lemon frosting birthday cake together
*Making pancakes together
*watching the news of the earthquake and tsunami, and explaining to Ruby what an earthquake and a tsunami are
*watching Real Life: I'm Addicted to Food, and explaining to Ruby that if you eat at McDonalds too much, you will get sick. I already got a phone call from Amber about that one.
*having a makeup party

getting a postcard from mommy and daddy

Here are the lowlights of the week:

*I set a fire while making sweet potato fries. I have vowed never to fry food again.

*we had a minor ant infestation that we were able to contain

My biggest fear was that she would get homesick and I wouldn't know what to do, but we didn't have any trouble with that. In fact, every day she asked to make sure she was staying the night again.

I'm trying something new this week, called a day in the life. I'll be taking a picture every hour of a day in the life of me. I just need to pick a day.
