1. Watching TFIOS. I loved it, and I loved the book. It was maybe the saddest movie I've ever seen.
2. Cutting back on TV for Ezekiel. We are so creative when we watch less TV! See examples below.
3. I don't have a great picture/video of this, BUT, Ezekiel and I went out on a night walk tonight with his tricycle and remote control truck. Um, this was FUN. He was mostly interested in the tricycle, and I was mostly interested in the truck.
4. Picking up Nathanael at the airport last Sunday. We made signs (see?) and while we were standing at the bottom of the escalator, we got a lot of "aww, that is so cute!" looks. But aren't they?
5. Play at the park on Friday after preschool. Ezekiel is making friends, and so am I!
6. Dinner with the Willis' at our house on Friday night. The kids were crazy, and the tacos were good.
7. Preschool, in general. He's already been complimented by Ms. Donna on his listening skills, and he really loves playing with Holden and playing "the yoo-hoo game". I'm still not sure exactly how that goes.
8. Milestone alert! Ezekiel went outside and played in the cul-de-sac with the neighbor kids for the first time yesterday. He was out all afternoon! He would periodically come back in and say things like, "Mom, I need my scooter", or "Mom, I need a gun.". I loved watching him shout and play from the window. He is my big little boy. Oh, and then since we are still establishing rules and boundaries for playing outside, this happened today:
Nathanael: Do you know Ezekiel is outside in the cul-de-sac?
me: No, I thought he was watching TV on the couch.
(I go outside to find him running wildly on the sidewalk in the cul-de-sac with bare feet)
