On October 10th, she emailed me and told me that she went to the hospital because she was having bad cramping and regular contractions. She was dehydrated, which was causing the contractions. Her cervix had closed up, but Ezekiel was transverse, and she had low blood pressure. But his vitals were great, and he is very healthy. They put her on bedrest for 4 days.
When she went back to the doctor on Tuesday, she was dilated to 2cm again. Doctor put her on bedrest for 4 weeks, so she can carry him to 34 weeks. So what happens after that? Does she get off bedrest and go into labor?? Yikes! I don't feel ready at all. We don't have nearly all the stuff we need for a baby. But I'm he'll come at just the right time, and although I was kind of freaking out inside on Tuesday morning for a little bit, I'm better now. I know we'll manage with whatever the circumstances turn out to be.
So we're still waiting anxiously for Ezekiel, who might be here earlier than we expected.
Dana came up to me and gave me a hug from Amanda tonight. She is apparently worried about us. As if she should be worried about us. We are the ones who are worried about her.
My mom bought him some more clothes last weekend, and Candee gave me a bag of clothes. My clothes stash is growing!
