things I'm never going to do

Today was one of those days where I barely left the house. Inevitably, those days make for interesting blogs. I am borrowing an idea from another blog that I like.

Here are some things that I'm never going to do.

1. Re-gift. I'm not saying I haven't done it before... I have. But I won't again. I'm not afraid to admit that I don't particularly care getting re-gifts. I also don't have a problem giving people things that I no longer need/want, but not under the guise of a "gift". Sorry.

2. Eat coconut. I hate everything about it. Oh, except the smell. I love the smell of coconut, especially if it's in a bottle of sunscreen or lotion. But I hate everything ELSE about it. The taste and texture, specifically. It reminds me of pulp in orange juice, which I also hate.

3. Shop at Walmart, voluntarily. Again, I'm not saying that I haven't. But I will never again choose to shop at this evil empire. I recently watched the documentary " Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices". I was aghast, and vowed to never shop there again. It helps my cause that I live in Portland, where Walmarts are NOT favored by people in places of influence.

4. Put bumper stickers on my car that have words on them. I think it's tacky, but I don't judge you if you like bumper stickers. I just choose not to participate.

5. Ride on any ride that goes in a circle. Unless I want to be sick for the rest of the day, which I will never want. I became adamant on this issue after I rode MISSION: Space at Epcot in DisneyWorld a couple of years ago. If there is any way that I could have felt more ill, I don't know what it is. This didn't use to be the case...I used to love riding the Gravitron at fairs, but those days are over. In fact, I'm feeling a little ill just writing about it.

Thats all for now. I 'm sure there are more, and you'll hear about them when I think of them.

Until next time,
Misty

Hi Misty...thank you so much for asking me before you took the pictures, and of course you may download them to show your photographer! I hope your pictures turn out great!
