the top ten things I love this week

And by this week, I mean last week.

1. Nathanael's rum molasses spice cookies. Best cookies he's ever made, and I can't stop eating them.

2. The beautiful weather (although it's not happening right now)

3. Both organizing the laundry room and having it organized. I love both parts.

4. My new olive colored Toms!

5. The Beaverton Farmer's Market. It was amazing, and so huge! Nathanael and I split a sausage roll from Pacific Pie Co., one of our favorite dining places, and bought a teddy bear full of yummy honey. Not to mention, all the samples were amazing, and made a great lunch for Ezekiel! I can't wait to go back next week with my market basket and buy all kinds of produce and other stuff!

6. The season finale of The Office. I LOVE it when episodes are an hour. I miss Michael, though.

7. The pictures I got of Ruby as a flower girl in a wedding. She was and is so beautiful!

8. Playing Mad Dog with Nathanael on Family Night and beating him 2 out of 3 games!

9. Joining Nathanael and Ezekiel on their Saturday morning outing at Public Domain. Ezekiel was clearly very comfortable sitting next to Nathanael on the bar stool at the espresso bar eating a zuccini muffin, but it was also clear that he wasn't real sure why I was there.

10. Making kale chips. I saw Gwyneth Paltrow make them on Ellen one day, and I was intrigued. Then, I got a bunch of kale in my produce box last week, and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I tore it, washed it, tossed it in olive oil and a little salt, and baked for 15 minutes. Tasty snack!

This is going to be a great week!
