Something I read in a book in the wee hours of the morning during Atticus' first weeks has stayed with me, and it's time I let it out.
In the book "Silver Linings Playbook", the main character often says that he is "practicing being kind over being right". I need to do this too, and I will make more of an effort to do so from now on.
In other news, my homemade baby formula experiment is going well. I feel an incredible sense of accomplishment every time Atticus drinks a bottle of raw goats milk formula that I made for him. There is nothing like knowing you are doing good things for your baby.
Also bottle related...Atticus can hold his own bottle! Not for a long period of time, but he can do it.
Last but not least today, Nathanael has started using the Lift app to create some new habits in his life. He is doing great, and I'm so proud of him. I decided to join in too! Here are my first 3 habits I will create:
Pray
Stretch
Stop and enjoy life
