- It was not exactly what we had planned, which was to go to Great Wolf Lodge for the night of his birthday. But it snowed that day and school was cancelled. So instead, we enjoyed the snow day and a play date with his best bud Thor.
- The previous weekend, Dan and Robyn came and stayed on Friday night to celebrate. He chose Tom's Pancake House for his birthday dinner, because of their strawberry waffles. It was pretty spectacular looking.
- I drove to the ends of the earth (felt like) on Friday night during rush hour traffic to get to Great Harvest Bakery to get a loaf of Cinnamon Chip bread for French toast on Saturday morning, and also just for general consumption. He loves that bread (all bread).
- We gave him a watch for his birthday, and Mario Odessey. He was feeling left out because the rest of us have new/updated watches, and now he has a vtech watch with cameras and games! Now we all have watches!
