Amanda is great! She is sweet and kind and fun to be around. She came over for dinner and bible class last night, and today, her and I went to Java City where Nathanael gave us a tour of the roasting plant. Then, we went crib shopping at Babies R Us. After bible class tonight, a bunch of us went to Big Spoon for yogurt. Amanda was having trouble breathing during bible class tonight; I kept looking over there and not seeing her and Dana where they were supposed to be sitting, and I was getting nervous, and imagining her going into labor or something. Hopefully she won't. It's a little too soon for that.
She told me today that the baby was quiet and not moving much while she was traveling, which was unusual, because he's usually moving a lot. He wasn't moving much during the day either, but then as soon as Nathanael started talking and teaching bible class, he was moving around like crazy! I thought that was amazing. I had her tell Nathanael that story when we got to Java City, and he told me later that he almost cried. I won't ever forget that.
Amanda is very inquisitive. She asks me lots of questions, she clearly wants to know more about us, in the same way that I want to know lots about her. When I am with her, I forget the things that I want to ask her, and then I remember them when she is not around. I should write them down.
Tomorrow the plan is to go to Apple Hill after I get off of work.
