It was bound to happen. I tried something new, and it was a disaster. Here is my assessment of the situation.

I found one I liked, and tried to follow the instructions. Which was exactly my problem. I can't do makeup from a list of instructions. It doesn't work for me. My new approach for when I want to try something new is to study the makeup that I have, and come up with my own plan. I may use the book for some general ideas, but I will not be trying to follow step by step instructions any longer. As you can see below, it didn't work. I look way too goth, or something.
Day 6

This is the look I was going for. I didn't quite get there, or Julie Roberts pulls it off way better than I do.
Oh well. There's still tomorrow. And about 20 other days as well.
