The last couple of days, I've been using some makeup that I don't use very often, if ever. A long time ago, I ordered a bunch of e.l.f. makeup, and the eye shadows came in little 4 colored palates. I wasn't really enthused about them when I got them, so I threw them in with the rest of my makeup, and there they have sat for a few years. So yesterday, as I scanned my makeup case (which is really just a fancy caboodle), my eyes landed on these little palates, and I decided to give them a try. I guess they're not too bad after all.
Day 9
my tools:
*e.l.f. 4 color palate 'neutral'
*MAC paint 'bare canvas'

Day 10
my tools:
*e.l.f. 4 color palate 'luxe'
*MAC paint 'bare canvas'

In other news, I'd like to announce that Ezekiel said his first word last night. My criteria for a word being his first word is that he has to know what it means. He says ma-ma and da-da a lot, but I'm not convinced that he knows what he is saying. Last night Nathanael handed him one of those slimy squishy balls rubbery balls with floppy spikes coming off of it. They are commonly used as dog toys. Do you know what I am talking about? As soon as Ezekiel touched it, he violently pulled away, as if he had touched something hot. His reaction plus the look on his face indicated that he did NOT like it. So every time we tried to hand it to him again, he said "no", using various intonations and inflections. And I know he meant it when he said it.
I can't say that I am entirely pleased that "no" is his first official word.
Until tomorrow (or the next day, as things are turning out to be),
Misty
