There is something delightfully pleasant about rocking in a chair on the front porch, eagerly anticipating the arrival of company. It's one of the simple pleasures in life.

I'm so glad Shala came down for a visit. I'm really enjoying being closer to family, and seeing all of them more often. It eases the sadness of missing my Folsom friends.
