Fill in the blank Friday - my first!

I'm very excited about my first Fill in the blank Friday. I saw this idea on a friend's blog, who borrowed it from a friend of hers' blog. Thank you Allie and Lauren!

1. If I didn't have to work anymore I would do exactly what I'm doing now. God has blessed me abundantly, and given me the desires of my heart, which is to stay home and do things I love doing...caring for my husband, my son, and my home. The May family empire, as I like to call it. Praise God for answering a prayer I prayed daily for so long!

2. My favorite thing about a vacation is not feeling like there is always work to do. When I'm home, there is always laundry, dishes, cleaning, meals to prepare, etc. When I'm on vacation, I don't have to do any of that!

3. When packing for a trip I try to think of everything. Although, nearly every time I pack for a trip, no matter how much thought I've put into the packing, I forget something. Usually, I end up bringing a lot of stuff I don't need, but I never know if I might! And then I forget the one thing I really needed. It's maddening.

4. if i could go on a road trip with anyone (dead OR alive) i would choose Nathanael, because he is the most fun person to be in the car with and we would go to someplace neither of us has ever been.

5. My top 3 absolute travel essentials are my black Rainbows, my toothbrush (duh), and a book.

6. Vacations are so much fun to look forward to. The anticipation is always nearly as fun as the vacation itself.

7. On vacation you must always have fun and laugh a lot!
