Nathanael, Ezekiel and I have witnessed the first baptism since we've been here at TVC! Miranda was baptized into Christ on Tuesday night. It was very exciting!

Nathanael got a call from Gary around 10pm, and for lack of a place to baptize someone that late on a Tuesday night, we all drove down to Salem, so that her Grandpa could baptize her at the South Salem church.

And on the way, we found a little treasure. The McDonalds in Woodburn is open 24 hours, AND they sell Tillamook ice cream, AND it's buy one, get one free. What a great find.

Miranda's heart was pricked by Nathanael's sermon on Sunday, in which he recounted his conversion experience. May God continue to work in Nathanael, so that others can be brought to Christ as well.

We began our Thursday night hospitality schedule. We had the Novaks over for dinner tonight. Every first Thursday of the month, we are having people over for dinner to get to know them better. I now dub this night, "First Thursday", in honor of "Last Thursday" at Alberta Street. Henceforth, I will refer to it as such.

Tomorrow is my first Fill In The Blank Friday! I'm so excited!
