‘The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green earth, dwelling deeply in the present moment and feeling truly alive.’ ~Thich Nhat Hanh
What if I could really live like this? I think I'll try. Zenhabits are my friends.
- simplify
- do & consume less
- slow down
- be mindful & present
- savor things fully

Well, we have joined the ranks of parents who let their kids fall off of stuff. First, the bed, and then the couch. The couch fall resulted in a head smack on the hardwood floor, so that was a little more traumatic. And I can honestly say there is very little that I hate more than when my little baby gets hurt. It makes my stomach get all twisty turny in knots. I called the advice nurse to get advice (did I get that right?) and she gave us some instructions which we did not quite exactly follow. There seems to be no serious damage done, but I don't plan on that happening again.
My mother has arrived! And we did inconsequential things today, like go to Target. But it was still a nice day.
"O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you." II Chronicles 20:12
Until tomorrow,
Misty
