I love Jeep Wranglers. I owned one once. I loved it.
It was dark green. It wasn't my first choice of color, but I bought it from an auction, so I didn't have a lot of choices. I debated for a while on whether to buy a soft top or a hard top, and I settled on a hard top. For most of the time that I owned it, the top was off. Here is what it sort of looked like:

My friend Marty helped me to create a pulley system in my garage so that I could lift the top off and on by myself. That was pretty neat.
It was fun to listen to music really loud in the jeep, because there were speakers everywhere. One of my favorite things to listen to was Green Day's American Idiot album. It's good loud.
One time, Jaime and I drove down to San Luis Obispo in the jeep with the top off. It was a 5 hour drive there. We got nice tans, and a little chilly as we got nearer to the coast. By the time we got there, we were wearing sweatshirts and beanies.
My favorite thing about the jeep was jeep hair. This happened when the top was off, and my hair would blow in the wind, and get all wild and tangly, and then I couldn't even comb the tangles out. It was awesome. Here is an example:

Here is a picture of me driving it. I don't know how I took this picture. See how happy I look?

I miss having a jeep. I know it wouldn't be as practical here in Oregon, but they're still fun, even with the top on. And these days, they have jeeps that are longer and with 4 doors, to make them more practical. Lots of convenience but still all of the fun.
Here is my dream jeep:
Jeeps are RAD.
Until tomorrow,
misty
