We had an awesome day today!
For starters, Ezekiel slept in this morning. I'm not sure why he chose today of all days, but it was the best thing ever, for Nathanael and I to sleep in a little bit. I've really been missing that. Even after he was awake but just playing in his crib, and I was awake, I just lay there with my eyes closed, enjoying the moment.
And THEN, we drove down to Albany in the afternoon to visit our BFFs Dani and Brady! We have all been planning and looking forward to this day for months, and it was everything I hoped it would be! I miss our friends in Folsom terribly, and it was so good to see 2 of our favorites, and their sweet little kids.
As a bonus to the awesome day, we made new friends, Brady's sister and brother-in-law, Adam and Erin. It's so fun to make new friends!
We had a lovely dinner on the patio, it was a beautiful day, we had 4 healthy kids among us, there was good conversation, and a little bit of Bananagrams thrown in for good measure.
How abundantly blessed I am with good friends.
Tomorrow is going to be fun too! I will be joining my TVC family in praise and worship to God, and then we are driving to Bremerton to visit Nathanael's parents.
Life is good!
