June 10th

Work. Church. Church was fun, but I was nervous. Terry Raposa made an announcement for us. It was nice. Donna and Angie were VERY excited. I talked to Dana Wade and got emotional when I talked about how there would be nothing more special than if we could tell our daughter that her birth mother was a Christian. This was something that Nathanael had said, and I thought it was very special, and I think about that a lot. I had texted Brooke a lot today, and she wasn’t feeling well. When we got home from church, Dana called me and said Brooke was in the hospital, she had a kidney infection. So I was nervous, but I called her. We talked for 40 minutes or so. It was still weird, but it was a nice conversation. It’s funny how much I think we have to talk about. I could talk to her for hours, and not run out of things to talk about. I have so much to ask her, and that I want to know about her. I talked to her until her friend came back from getting coffee, and could keep her company. Her mother was not with her at the hospital, and I thought that was sad. Brooke doesn’t have a very good relationship with her mother. Can you tell I’m tired of writing? I shouldn’t update my blog at night, when I am tired, and just want to go to bed. Maybe I’ll catch up tomorrow morning, when I’m not so tired.
